For all thos people who couldn't get it, the problem was probably to do with DNS caching, whereby your ISP (I bet you are all using the same if you couldn't get it) caches certain pages so they don't actually have to go get them all the time. If a site happens to be down at the instant they cache the page, it can appear dead for some time.

I had this problem the other day with Optus. They couldn't figure out the problem and ended up sending me a new modem which was better than the one I had. So it did work out for the best, but I did lose half a days work trying to figure it out.

Later on I found out about this DNS caching scenario which apparetly common with Ozzie ISPs as it supposedly saves them bandwidth/money.
