Talk was that Harrys at Parramata had bad parking,
I think homebush may be the go,
what do others think?

Hi

I'm easy, I just think that Tempe Harry's will be too small.

Parramatta & Homebush are close by any good venues at Homebush

Kazandmyrtle - December 27th, 2011 at 08:09 PM

Lets give Homebush a try, count me in x

paste of Alex's post a while back

Yo sup guys.

I mentioned Olympic Park in Homebush parking is endless and the lighting is bright and they have a good place

http://www.piccoloroma.com.au/  pasta pizzas etc...

after cruise in style to where ever.
I also like the idea of making the venue in different locations.

There is plenty of parking at parramatta Harry's, after all their van resides in a council car park.

no1jc - December 27th, 2011 at 08:31 PM

Just relying on previous comments about parramatas parking,

""""""I think Harry's at Parramatta would probably suck because there's minimal parking and it's all paid parking IIRC.

Alex suggested Homebush, and there are some decent places to get some take away, plenty of space to park and it's reasonably central.

Thoughts!?!?!? """""

can we confirm if parramatas parking is ok

Craig S - December 27th, 2011 at 09:33 PM

OK I'm guilty as charged. I said it was paid parking, but I didn't check all my facts. I'll go hide in the naughty corner. :(

It is paid parking at Parramatta, but only until 6pm.

From the Council website:

A - Fennell Street

Type: Street level parking
Spaces: 126 metered spaces
Hours: Restricted Time - 2P Hour time limit - 4 Parking Meters Available
Fee: Mon – Fri
8.10am to 6.10pm - 2P $3.30 per hour
8.10am to 6.10pm - 4P $1.10 per hour
Saturday
8.10am to 10.10pm - 4P $1.10 per hour
Disabled Spaces: 2

And the picture from Google Street View confirms it.

I'm happy with either Homebush or Parramatta.

Idea for a cruise (from either Homebush or Parramatta): A ferry wharf or park somewhere towards the city that we can get the cars close enough to for some photos with the city lights in the background. Any thoughts?

Hi

I know a couple of streets in North Sydney where you can get the Harbour Bridge and the Opera house in the background, maybe a cruise to there and a group photo.
