I bought the Fridolin direct from the Swiss Post back in 1987 whilst in Switzerland with Andy Luzzi.
It only had about 34,000klms but was starting to rust from the salted roads etc.
We did a body off restoration in Aussie and had it in the showroom at Brookvale Spares for about 20 plus years.
It was at Valla one year.
Sold it to Doddy about 7 years ago whilst trying to scale down.
Didn't know about the other one though.
Hi
If you go to the media section and then past events, 2011, 2011 Winter Break on the Club Vee Dub site http://www.clubvw.org.au you can see photos of the one from Coffs area. It owned by a guy on here, I will let him chime in
if he wants to.

Very rare VW only 6139 made by Westfalia in Germany from VW parts including the wider Karmann Ghia chassis
some look like an early type 2 from the rear..
Swiss Postal ones had the larger rear windows and corner windows.

I know of 3 in OZ... Dodds, the red one in Coffs (there is a resto article in members rides i think) and one other in Victoria.
Yep there was one brought into the country not long ago, now belongs to Gary Collis (Wolfsburg Auto) in Geelong.
