My sister was invloved in a low speed accident today.... she drove into the back of a car in a traffic cue.... the accident was deffinatly her fault... but apparently the other cars towbar stuck out to far... i was told that there is a legal limit in queensland of how long your towbar can be is this true the towbar stuck out 5 inchs from the bumper and about 7 inches from the base

5 inches is about right matey, otherwise you couldn't turn with a trailer on... i made mine as short as possible and that's about 5 inches too... it's just not a good idea to park on someone elses towbar...

yeah i told her that.... but thought i would ask just incase.... at least it wasnt my kombie.. just her nissan pulsar and a ford futra

I thought you had to remove the tounge if you are not towing!
