Hi all, just bought my second bug and wondering if someone can help ID the vin number?
On tunnel under back seat "196850202"
On plate in spare tyre well "Type 19, Chassis No 19, 196850202"
Hoping someone can tell me the exact year. Owner said it was a 62??

Thanks for the replies. Now how did you find that out and where do i look for this info?? Have looked at some sites but the numbers did not seem to match up. Have bought this with a 1916 conti engine in it(lost interest project) and i have a 56 oval on its way. So all the more info i can find and help i recieve will be very much appreciated.
