are these headlights different??? Or is it just me???

Yeah - guards trimmed back and Beetle headlights put in.

Used to be a pretty common thing to do 'em... some people say it makes the KG look more Porsche... but not a fan of the idea myself.

Early beetle headlamps grafted in..that Karmann Ghia looks really great....looks very porsche type... no bumpers..
