Turbo54 - February 9th, 2012 at 02:37 PM

I posted about a real nice 54 beetle on ebay and now it has been moved or deleted.
Where or why?

I can still see it in the vagrants section.

Found it now.
Can someone please answer this. This is a post about does anyone know who's it is or have any more pics of it, not I want to buy it or for sale or I have seen it.
It frustrates me how posts gets moved but someone advertising or upselling a 21 window or a notch can sit in general chit chat for days without being moved. I have had this happen multiple times without cause and it is just frustrating! Some consistency please moderators.

Hey 54, I know where it is I just wonder why it was moved for no reason?
It is just a consistency thing, and when something does get moved you have no notification why or where!

It's never effected me when things move because I always use Topic Activity where I can see everything. I personally would rather something moved where it's more helpful than deleted like other forums do if you dont post in what "they" think is the right place. As mentioned, it's a free forum, where you dont have to pay to post nor do mods get paid.

Topic Activity is the most effective way of having an overall look at the forum, then using the sub forums if looking for something specifically.

I'll second that Ash....
and I always use topic activity also..
My Son uses - for sale - or other topic He wants to look at -so anything in the wrong place doesn't get seen... or sold..
etc...

actually, I rarely look at the topic heading when I'm posting so sometimes it may get moved but it will always show up on TOPIC ACTIVITY - so I don't care if it was moved...
its no big deal... IMHO...

So why do things get moved at all if you use topic activity? And why can 2 for sale ads sit in general chit chat for so long? Good luck to brad for selling his splitty but c'mon. If someone else posted that it would have been moved in minutes

maybe start your own forum then you can have what rules you like.

Just roll with it, bigger things to worry about in the world.
