I just took Top Gear's advice and bought the Road Inc. App for the ipad.

It's pretty bloody good - kind of like an interactive history book with essays about a variety of classic and iconic cars (Beetle included) as well as sounds of the engines, videos of the vehicles being given a thrash, technical drawings, old photos of their development and a 360 degree 3D render of the vehicle that you can spin around on a pedestal like a car in a show room. More cars will be made available for download as the app gets updated but currently there are 30

It's $6 something and a big download, but if you like your old and iconic cars - and who here doesn't - it is worth a look.
