May save this from the inevitable tip. Found this 58 today and owners wife said it may be on the way to the tip, but guess where it is now going. Yes you're right, will pick it up in a couple of weeks.

Yes you're right, will pick it up in a couple of weeks. They are coming out of the woodwork, sheer luck just spotted it behind a shed as I was visiting someone.volma

Have look at this and check out the side doors. The 7 door delivery was mine that I sold to Matt at Shannons in Melb since moved it again. These are the og doors from that bus, spooky.volma

BenettonVW - August 20th, 2003 at 10:10 PM

So how are the cargo doors? I need some nice ones, windowless of course..

volma1 - August 20th, 2003 at 10:37 PM

Looked ok but no guarantees as I had to move some junk to look properly. has a roof over the doors as used to store motor bike parts as can be seen in the pics. The bus that it came off had good doors on the drivers side but the og owners changed the passenger ones over to let some light into the rear as they had the 7 door delivery fitted as a camper and sold it to a bloke that lived in it till I bought it. Will have a better look when I pic it up as I was not too fussy about the condition if I could get it for nix. volma

volma1 - August 22nd, 2003 at 05:39 AM

Sorry don't have the replica anymore as being a vw enthusiast I swapped it for a good 54 beetle. It now resides in a shed on the west coast of tassie. Countrybuggykid's fiancee's father owns it.volma
