Sounds interesting. Might have to look at getting a crew together and make a vw cruise out of it as well.

I'm thinking of taking a trip down. I fancied a trip down the strip as part of the test and tune, until I read that you must have seat belts, considering vans didn't have them in 57. Maybe I could turn up wrapped in bubble wrap and velcro'd to the van.

I went to this last year and it was huge, give yourself a whole day there's tonnes to see and do

Good idea !! There was a few vw's , last year .
Get there real early , fills up very very fast .
Test & tune runs for 2hours only .
Remember $10 per person in your car ( except kids)
and $5 for the car .

Is a huge day .

Sure was a great day ! very little rain at willowbank , didn't keep the street machine people and cars away . I'd say least 500 plus cars .
Only one street ratty black beetle there , good on your mate . Real sad the vw people stayed away ,
