Good luck Adam.
I would love to go but I spent all my pocket money on the RATeX on KI.
Look forward to hearing about it.
Will you be there Wednesday?
good luck adam
don't get two wheels in the air too much
howdya go?
Adam did well, similar times as last year. Didn't have to touch car all weekend which is always a bonus.
Rene also did well bettering his time from last year.
Hope adam posts times on here when he comes online next.

Heard it was a great day out for Volksies.
A mate went out and got some photos, will see if I can get him to send them to me so I can put them up here.
Was a geat couple of days except for Kier Wilson in his R35gtr which rolled up the top and caught fire.Rene's car sounds soo sweet with the CR box and Adams car always suprises everyone..I heard one guy say.."you need horsepower to get up and around that turn no.2..but those beetles just fly up there!"..then he scratches his head..lol.A mate of mine built the engine in the mazda that came second outright..so he was stoked too.
Snitz, I take it you are a rotor guy buy your members rides post. I come from a bug rotor family. Mum had a rx3 coupe and drove us to school in it.
Who built the motor of the second outright. Adam debiasi uses Brian Hestor (a rotor builder) to tune all his engines.

rene went really well beating his previous best by almost 2 seconds, he drove fantastically all weekend - his new avon hillclimb slicks look like a
great invetment. i did ok - about the same as last year- i was hoping for better as i gained a extra 14 hp with a recent engine freshing. but my tyres
were limiting me as they have gone a bit hard(there from the 2009 classic adelaide!! plus ive been busy with a new job and baby over the last year so
i havent driven the car for 12 months i hope to change that this year. my boss keir wilson managed to destroy his r35 gtr but hes not to worried as
hell just use it as a excuse to go faster. my work (willall racing) had 7 of the top 12 out right cars so that was agreat result for willall
cheers adam
Hi Turbo54 Brad Trenwiths FD Rx7 motor is built Jason Unkovich from REVS Rotary Engine Vehicle Specialists. Yes I love rotas..lol .
My first was an Rx5 with 13bt and currently I'm building a series 3 Rx7 with a Series 6 motor/gt3540/borg warner diff etc.. aiming for 280-300kw on
pump fuel.
Shit its a small world I remember going up to Brain Hesters house up in bridgewater? when he was a Racing Beat agent. He built and tuned a few motors
in some of my mates cars.
Im too obsessed with the wifes VW to bother with the mazda at the moment. We just had a 1916 built by Peter Debiasi. Once the VW is on the road we
will have to do a few cruises and shows and meet people like yourself and put a face to a name..Adelaide is soo small..lol
Well done Adam,
more seat time will definately help.
Cheers Col
Hi Adam..gee its a small world as I just discussed with turbo54!..My first rotor was tuned by Mike Petrou from DAT Racing who no longer tunes anymore
and has been working for Kier for years..Tell him Snitz says gidday..Ohh and the wife loves the motor your dad or both of you built . I was going to introduce myself and say gidday but had to leave for a
engagement party..
yeah mikes a great guy i blast with him all the time- he thinks im a nut for being into vws- im glad your happy with the engine i dont get a chance to do to much vw work lately i pass it to my dad who is supposed to be retired but he loves it to much to stop
I remember Mike tuning Rene's KG years ago at Darlington Auto tune and even back then he thought Rene was a maniac lol. Such a pity he doesnt tune anymore but being away and working for Kier will do that but aleast he still tinkers with his 4wd and bikes still.
Hey Snitz, it is a small world. I went up to Brians house in bridgewater when I was younger and I just remember a long lineup of engines that he had
built just sitting down one wall of the shed. Our first motor (late 80-early90) was built by a guy down on unley road calle paul matters. God that was
a great natural engine. 13b extend bridge port.
T54
The name Paul Matters sounds familiar too..I had the 13b in the rx5 rebuilt and was extend ported with a 48IDA etc before it was turbo. Tha workshop was on South Road and run by Paul Matters I believe and the motor was rebuilt by his other mechanic called Aaron Fischer..The workshop was South Road Autogas..
Small world, even smaller in Adelaide .
Ahaha Adelaide is getting smaller and smaller.
Isn't possible to know anyone without knowing someone they know these days.
i found some footage of rene hooting around the second bend....ill post it up later...

from 5:24 he is on....
Thanks for posting up the link.
I can,t beleive the organizers let spectators stand on that corner on the outside behind that wire fence, pure insanity.
Cheers Col
