Rims from Bug featured in Vol 1 OZVW
68Volkaru - April 25th, 2012 at 11:17 AM
Hi,
I recently (over 12 months ago now) purchased the 68 that featured on page 58 in Vol 1 of VW Australia mag.
According to the article, the vehicle was resto'd/built buy a guy named Robert Newman. The vehicle at time of print, had a set of Green color coded
15" Custom Wheels.
I am just wondering if anyone out there in the VW community knows the whereabouts of these rims?

I must be too young for that..... but that is funny as.

GOLD!
Throw a Marlbro in his mouth at the time, and you could have two sponsors for the one add.....

They did look big (if that is what you are referring to, and not the popularity). Car has different tires now, and has a totally different stance.
