If you'd won that 70 million dollars...
Ollie - May 8th, 2012 at 09:53 PM

What would you have bought?

I would have put the 70 million into research to create my own Ironman Suit. Awesome, I know.

So what were your dreams then boys and girls?

bajachris88 - May 8th, 2012 at 09:58 PM

Steel underwear that chills beer, brushes my teeth, fitted with 6x9's for each cheek whilst provides the ability to fly around the world :)

whathaveidone - May 8th, 2012 at 10:03 PM

no need to brush teeth, ill get falsies!!!dont like the idea of beer in my undies but i think ill bye weeman and he can follow me with a eski.

Ollie - May 8th, 2012 at 10:06 PM

Guys, guys guys...

I've already built all that into the prototype of my Ironman suit.

whathaveidone - May 8th, 2012 at 10:11 PM

you have we man in your suit:?::?::?: your weird:?::?:

waveman1500 - May 8th, 2012 at 10:13 PM

I'd have a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 for my daily driver.

Build my Superbug up to historic rally specs and start doing forest rallies. I'd probably build myself a hot V8 for my Holden ute as well, and a decent six-speed manual that shifts nicer than an Aussie four speed!

narumi - May 9th, 2012 at 12:03 AM

I'd buy a FT86 as a daily
buy a couple of houses at least one with a twisty drive way ( race track )
open a some sort of business
travel the world

silver - May 9th, 2012 at 07:41 AM

Build my own golf course in the hunter valley (got the land already)
oh and a lamborghini to get there

h - May 9th, 2012 at 08:52 AM

give half of it away
I'm sure half would be more than enuff

Lucky Phil - May 9th, 2012 at 09:48 AM

Buy a Bugatti Veyron.
Then build a road to drive it on.

TheMiniMan - May 9th, 2012 at 12:41 PM

i`m with h on this one,,, but then i`d fix up my kombi & buy a shed in Byron with the rest

barls - May 9th, 2012 at 01:50 PM

bulid a brewery to work in.

tar76 - May 9th, 2012 at 06:39 PM

Set up the family, Buy some large acerage in the north NSW hinterland where i can grow my fruit and veg, produce my own meat. Big man size shed where i can park my new vw collection, put some orders into DAS. Donate a large sum of money to help sick kids!

RISKY4LIFE - May 9th, 2012 at 06:45 PM

PAUTER here i come :)
no idea but no one need that much money !
change it for $1 notes and hit Vegas :D

grinderman - May 9th, 2012 at 07:04 PM

Yeah, it sure would be cool to buy an AUDI R8 with a briefcase full of cash. They say money doesn't bring happiness but I'd sure as shit like to give it a go.........
oh....and after finishing all my projects I'd go back to work. I would only buy 3 new cars all the rest would be restored and modified old veedubs. So all this would add up to a couple of million so all the rest would be given away to people who want to improve their lives.

grumble - May 9th, 2012 at 07:37 PM

h is right, that's way too much money and what more can a man want,a loving wife, good kids a lovely daughter in law,a little dog our own home,a few beers and the occasional wine,my Karmann Ghia and no longer working for the red queen, the black swan and her honcho's. aAAah life can be grand (even if we do struggle to make ends meet)

beetle_nut - May 11th, 2012 at 06:27 PM

Id hav a different vw for each day of tha week tha boss aka the wife would take the rest n do something senseable with it.

vertex - May 11th, 2012 at 08:39 PM

stop working

helbus - May 11th, 2012 at 09:05 PM

I would start my own car restoration business where I teach panel beating and restore cars for people I like. You would have to apply for me to work on your car, which I would be doing as a hobby to keep myself busy and sane. Tossers would not be allowed. Young people prepared to work on their own car and learn would have a place to start.

Cali64 - May 12th, 2012 at 11:26 AM

I would start a VW museum

Bizarre - May 12th, 2012 at 11:33 AM

Cafe Vee Dub

Sort of like Deux Ex Machina at Camperdown - a cool place that does food, coffee, clothes, stuff, restorations, cars

Just own it and hang there and make sure it stays on track

phatratpat - May 12th, 2012 at 12:23 PM

Turbo54 - May 15th, 2012 at 03:17 PM

helbus, where do I apply.

Me, retire and go back studying all thing things that interest me, architecture, and product design coach building. To do this and not have to worry about income would be grand.

SebastienPeek - May 15th, 2012 at 03:21 PM

Agreed with Heath,
Albeit I'd study something quite a bit different, but study nonetheless.
Invest my money wisely, put some of it in a high interest rate account, set for life man.

Although, I'd have to buy a nice house with a garage for at least six cars.
Then there would be the 911 (964), 356, Type 34 Ghia, Zelda, WRX STi 2003 GDB and my BMW M5.
:)
