O.K. all you D.I.Y. painters put up some photos of your backyard paint booths. Here's mine complete with dirt floor and cross flow ventillation
supercheap export spray can
I just sprayed in the drive way with tarp front and back
it came out beautiful
except there was oil in the line so I get all these pimples on the bonnet after a couples of week in the sun
Not as good as yours grinderman. I love your extraction system
This was mine a couple of years ago and you can see all the over spray on the floor. Neighbors must have loved me
Kev
We sprayed under my house.... twice. Do you know how hard it is to do rust repairs, build the car, then paint the car all in my upholstery shop under my house! Upholstery shops are supposed to be relatively clean!
This is a very long time ago now
Suspected neighbours got jack of the sound of angle grinders, sanders and air compressors. Found golf balls in the booth and holes in the roof of the
tarpauline.
Thankfully vw made the roof strong.
F#@$n neighbours..........
I am planning to build one this summer or the next.
Just going to make a timber frame tent, staple clear plastic on the outside and also some on the floors, Put a zip or some means of closing its off in
a sealed fassion.
Add couple of truck air fillers on the bottom, and few extraction fans.

I haven't got a pic but my neighbour gave me a massive old spinaker from a yacht and I clamp that around the inside of my shed to form a booth , works a treat then I can roll it up when finished
my garage
and used a private underground carpark late at night!!
Jeez, some of you have the luxury of 4 walls The funny part is that the baja looks great and the whole respray cost $100. With a bit of elbow grease and some left over industrial 2 pac polyurethane the gloss off the gun is superb and much better than I expected for a car that will be driven offroad more often than not.
had to do a quick job on my "new" trailer to get it ready for the trip[ to Wakefield later this week...
opps...
Nice trailer!
Did this on the weekend. Plenty of drop sheets in the shed at work.
