Sacramento Bugorama May 2012 - More Pics

Day 1 today of the Sacramento Bugorama - basically a test and tune and qualifying day for racing, and the start of the swap meet. Unfortunately a heavy shower that passed over the track limited qualifying but it dried up for more shake down passes by the end of the day with several cars into the 9's and dragsters into the 8's.

Day 2 (the big one) tomorrow - I'm on a red eye flight to NY straight after the event so probably will be a few days before I get those photos up.

Nice sunset to end the day along with a few beers with fellow vw nuts, with promises of fine weather tomorrow...happy days.

More pics when I get a chance....then a heap more come OCTO and the Classic in a couple of weeks!

More pics from Day 2 (Sunday) which is the show and shine day. Great racing albeit a much smaller field than previous years. Still, a host of 9 second passes from the Pro Mod guys was nice and 10s for super street. Met some great bus guys too....the barndoor contingent at this years OCTO show is going to be HUGE!

Along with the rusty lowlight ghia for $1K, and another rough lowlight ghia for $2.5K.....and....and...you get the drift, you've been here before so you know what its like
