What a day....at the gates at 6am along with a huge line up others, still walking around at 2pm and could have stayed longer if my back and feet
weren't giving up!
Swap meet was huge and reasonably productive (but like any swap it depends on what you are chasing). Loads of new part vendors as well as per previous
years.
The quantity of cars is just astounding, and the quality of many of them blows you away. As per most 'June gloom' days in Cali, cloud/fog starts the
day which makes walking around much more pleasant but by around lunch time it burns off and a clear sunny sky opens up for the afternoon. All in all,
another Classic to remember.
I've got close to 300 pics on my photobucket link but I'm way too tired to post each and every one so here is a snap shot, I'll put some more up
tomorrow if I get a chance. Otherwise people can copy and past the IMG code of the photos they like themselves to save me some work

Thats enough to get you going, more pics after I get some sleep
Al
Fantastic Al, thanks heaps for posting
Nice Al..cheers
Pip from DBK built this for a customer - amazing detail in his cars. Probably my pick of the show just because it was something different apart from
the usual bugs with nice paint, stock interior and slammed on early Fuchs - a great combo but done too many times.
This was Pip's ride he debuted last year - again a standout for me
Wow thanks for sharing your great pic's, how's the black Split Beetle with all black BRMs, man that think is the ducks nuts!
great pics al, looks like a great trip.

My first one was in 1987 was just as good then as now

Thanks for posting the pics Alan, love the black split beetle with the 17' BRMS the motor in that is insane.
Here are some of my pics. I could only stay a few hours but was awesome none the less. So good to experience. Yes, I am a little biased with Type
3's, sorry for that !! haha
For me this was my favourite car. I want to make my own Squareback this style one day for sure. Just gotta find the right car to build it off.
