Has anyone else got stuff from Alex at Transporterhaus?

I ordered and paid for a set of drop spindles and adjustable spring plates for my bus about 12 months ago while I was overseas. I was due home in Aug and the order was all supposed to have arrived by the time I got home.

I received the drop spindles a few months after Aug and no sign of the spring plates, as he said there had been some delays in the making of them. Which I was cool with.
The dropped spindles were well made and went on the kombi no problems etc..

So many emails back and forth and many months past, still no spring plates and still plently of reasons why they aren't built yet.

I have asked for refunds or other parts to be sent in their place, as I have sold my kombi and was only going to sell the spring plates when they arrived to get the money back.

I guess I'm after any advice on how else to chase this up and if anyone else has had similar experiences.

I think he is in the process of sorting things out, it's just taking him a very long time. Try and get him on the phone.

I had great service from them, I ordered my drop spindles just before xmas and had them about 3 weeks later, no problems.

I do however, know of another fella who has been waiting a couple months for his and has been hearing similar excuses to you. Hope you get it sorted soon.


If they do turn up in the next few weeks, I'd be interested in them if you're still wanting to sell.

Just an update on these. They turned up last week and look fairy impressive.

pitty i don't still have my bus to fit them too.

waiting to hear for the couple who bought my kombi if they want them otherwise they will be for sale.

they are 71.5 - 78 plates.

I'm still interested if the others don't want them, where are you located? Any ideas on price? PM me if you like.
