a tick and a cross for my day yesterday.
Starbug - August 26th, 2003 at 10:15 AM

A big BIG thankyou and a tick for George at air and water who fixed my bug yesterday when i just dropped in after it broke down in the middle of the bruce hwy.:thumb:thumb:thumb luckily it was a little thing and i drove home with a beautifully running car.:D

a big big HUMONGOUS cross and a kick in the balls for the stupid prick of a tow-truck driver who obviously thought it was his imperative to hit on me the whole time he was towing my car to air&water.

I might be young and female, and broken down on the highway, but your fat and stupid and lucky that i left my toolbox at home, or otherwise there would have been a good chance of you copping a whack on the head with something metallic and heavy! :cussing My car has broken down many times before, and i have been towed many times before so i know how to get in and out of a tow-truck and dont need your filthy perverted hands "helping me" get in and out while you try and cop a feel you ugly prick!

Though he undercharged me on the towing fees, i still think theres no excuse for hitting on the person you are towing. Im going to take this matter up with the RACQ.

sorry for the rant... I think a few of you may know how i feel though.

Hmmm a towie undercharging?? He really must have been a stupid one as well as a perv. If you do not complain he will just keep doing it. :puke

haha damn i wish you had your tool box and a camera i would have loved to have seen that. andy has a point tho, no complaint and he will keep undercharging.
just remember...always keep tools handy just in case you break down again:D
by the way, make sure you don't have screwdrivers in your car tho, it is considered a weapon unless they are in a locked toolbox, and in the boot.

I'm insulted now. I've never had a tow truck driver chat me up...........maybe I need a new aftershave.

Then again maybe I should shave.......:D

Another story....Another tow truck driver..
My young son, first car, put his car in a ditch a few weeks back,(No it wasn't a VW) he got ran off the road on a corner.
The tow driver that came, when towing the car out, rolled it & wrote it off for him.
How incompetant & unprofessional is that.
When taking it back to my son he didn't seem to care that he had just wrote it off
for him & took his money & left.
Considering it was an illegal tow (no sticker) & son got no receipt....
Thought he could rip a young kid off!!!
I stepped in...
Amazing what a threat of a law suit & photographs (taken before damage was done) can change a persons demeaner.
After a huge verbal arguement, we now are in the process of being $ compensated for his stupidity.
Be very careful when you deal with a tow truck driver....
