Have been offered a dual circuit LHD master cyd, is it usable on RHD chassis?

The outlets would clash with the bulkhead.... Id imaging you could panel beat a little to make it fit. You'd also need to redo the hard brake lines to suit.

Yes, mate, you'll be able to do it.

I bought an el' cheapo LHD dual circuit master cylinder, it bolted on fine but the bored/tapped lines didn't match the stock brake lines position wise. If i had the nack at the time to crimp and make the lines suit then it would be no prob.

Nothing is impossible just a darn sight harder...

I have a new LHD one too... as a spare... lol

I knew all the pipes would be wrong... but thought it would just bolt in...??? apart from getting all new length pipes..
especially made or from a kombi maybe??

Useable but a horrible result to work with. Even if the body is off the pan its hard enough to work on.

I recently bought an ATE right hand drive one for a standard beetle from Machine7 in the UK, off their website. The total cost including postage to here was fine.
But regardless of where you get it from I recommend sticking with right hand drive.
