I know that Ken Block divides opinion, but if you think of it as theatre and enjoy the skill he shows it is entertaining. He's even managed to pick up points in two WRC rallies this year.

Here he is San Francisco. You can see the rubber from his practice runs/multiple takes, but all it means is that he practiced!

Enjoy

Pretty cool stuff.

Looks like he lost a gopro doing the small jump coming back off the dock.

Love it! And in a great city. Ripping up Lombard st and with Travis was the best bits.

Interesting stuff. The part I find most impressive are the bits when he does a u-turn around a cone, and is actually drifting straight backwards with his momentum, but doing a four-wheel burnout in a forwards gear. Very fancy stuff.

I find it a very enjoyable watch and one of his best for me so far (for all the poo pooers ... it is entertainment)
The scenery makes the driving all the more fun to watch

The fact that a car takes that kind of punishment is impressive to me too.

(yes I know there are many other examples of cars being tortured, Dakar ......)

but if you realy want some serious drifting!

Love the slow mo shots and the tight cornerwork. Very impressive.
The logistics alone to create this clip would be enough to do my head in.
I'm not a fan of this kinda driving on the street but I am impressed with his skills and the camera work.
I can see how this is a great way to show off such a beautiful city. I bet some citizens were not so keen about their bridges and streets being shut down for a 10min Youtube clip. Ha!

i'm sure they didn't like the burnouts either, great tho.

I love the bit where he is airborne and sideways

narumi - July 11th, 2012 at 06:21 PM
