huh never seen one of those b4, maybe they werent popular with ppl cos its ugly and heavy
hmmm interesting but naaa.. epic fail
be interesting at a concorse. if someone had one on an early beetle would create some spectators because it was an option.
Not a Factory option so in strict concourse language it would not qualify.
Looks like some inventor similar to the dad in the movie "Gremlins" came up with an idea like the "Bathroom Buddy" but was not well recieved, good
in concept and function but not in reality.
Interesting though!
And it would work like a whale tail too, it looks about as good
it would be interesting how many were sold in that period?
In the 1970's I recall watching people disembarked the Princess of tasmania ferry in Melbourne. A guy with a VW mark 3 notchy arrived to greet his
two relatives whom had 3 or 4 suitcases. He tried placing the largest suitcase in the front boot- no fit, the rear boot - no fit so back seat was the
only place. Meant one passenger had to follow in a taxi.
Maybe the idea came from situations like that?
