Hi everyone, finally managed to save enough money to get down to Australia from England. Just coming for two weeks. Now I know it's winter for you guys and gals but what, if anything is there to do/ see in the above mentioned areas? I'm a total vw obsessed freak and so would love to know if there are any shows, museums, garages, scrap yards or car collections that would be worth checking out.

Sorry for being vague but I've never been 'down under' before.

action day 9th sept in brissy area, missed it by that much

welcome to Australia when you get here!
the weather will be warm during the day and cool/ cold (for us) then, a great time a year to visit
in the area you are visiting is sorta inbetween two vw gigs
VW Action day is on the 9th and then VW Warwick Drags will be on 29th-30th sept.
you should try and make it out to Warwick on the 29th if you can..
there is the convoy and show in the township followed by an afternoon of drag racing
a great weekend that should not be missed
