I am using Safari, and the forum seems weird. Some text is small, and some like the titles and the header area is really big, much bigger than I'm used to.

Is this how it appears to you?

Some things look funny on safari (how you described it), so I mostly use internet explorer for that exact reason. It all looks good, even though it's a product of the enemy...
