Hope you've got a big enough property! Sounds like you've got the bus bug bad.
The falcons have taken over the yard.
Got a lovely one owner XC im buzzing around in. Bought it off a 92 year old!
Got odds and ends kicking, doors, maybe some guards and stuff. No engines atm
but a few bits!
Yep, you're addicted. I'm the total opposite- but I understand addictions.
Once for me it was Lotus powered cars. Cut my losses after 4 years and never looked back. Thats was 30 years ago.
Now its the trike and its mini caravan.
My neighbour who is 63, has amassed 12 American cars- Chryslers and Plymouths. He has started offloading them but every night seeks more out on ebay
or in the states....cant help himself - he is a lost cause.
But the worst case was 1981 in StAlbans Melb. A friend had the Vauxhall bug. from early 1930's vagabond convertible rusted bodies to 1960's Crestas.
40 in all. He rented a house with loft roof and I assisted him to use the hoist on the gable to store doors, bonnets and the like.
He fell behind in rent and the owner wanted to demolish to build units. In the end my then ex friend pleaded with the owner before a bulldozer
levelled the land, parts and all. make a Vauxhall enthusiast cry if they saw it.
From then on I had my own persepctive as to my addictions. An example of this is a type 3 auto trans. If I had to buy a whole car for the trans the
body would be on my property for a max of a fortnight then sold. So now I'm a little paranoid as to having any old bodies around.
