Thinking of going down to Canberra for the German auto fest on Sunday and as I haven't been before thought I would find out some info on the
event, loged onto the Club vee dub Canberra website that was most helpful ,but one thing got me puzzled Thay ask for all cars to have a DRIP TRAY, now
it looks like from Google earth it a regular every day car park so anyone using it 364 days a year must bring a drip tray too,but what is more
interesting I looked on the Porsche and Mercedes web sites and no mention of a drip tray,do we come with a reputation for marking our territory or is
this just discrimination , any way I will take my cardboard drip tray and display it proudly
Not sure, but I think you may have stumbled on a page from last years event...... or we forgot to change it..... its in a car park and I think (so don't hold me to it) you are right in that we might not need a drip tray this year.
wtf most prolly have no oil left as they would of lost the black gold by the time they get to the carpark, so no drip tray required
I have one of the cleanest engines around.
I don;t point out usually that the steering box leaks though
fill the steering box with lithium based moly grease
as later steering boxes were filled with a special grease
Lee
I would have requested a ground sheet....
i just spoke to bad andy ross and he said it was in a gardens last year hence the drip tray, not needed at this years event, looks to be a cool
