Hi everyone.

A friend of mine told me there was a beetle hillcimb racer featured on one of the lifestyle shows last week.
It was apparently one of those house rebuild shows and one of the hosts went for a quick spin in the car at the end.

My friend is'nt into cars in the slightest so that was all the information I could really get out of him, he just said I would really like it and should track it down.

Did anyone tape it by any chance and could I get a copy? And also who was the driver? I'm betting it was one of the NSW hillclimb record holders

My friend said it was a white beetle. I drilled him for facts to see if it was relatively stock looking but he was'nt too sure. But as soon as he said white hillclimbing beetle I though it might have been yours.

And for someone who is'nt into cars at all he is now converted and wants to get a VW, LOL.

Did you get a video tape of the episode?
I'd love to see it and would be willing to pay for a copy.

Well actually I have this really really bizarre thing for fast beetles. Dunno why, it's just cool :-p

So yeah, pretty much anything that has a vw "slingshot up a steep driveway" (as my mate put it) I'm definately up for :-D
