Today I spotted this yellow Volkswagen "S" in Panania, a suburb of Sydney. The windscreen bears a removal notice from Bankstown Council, dated 2/10/12.

It appears to be in fair condition. It is slightly modified, with aftermarket seats, extractor exhaust, and steel wheels that look a bit wider than the originals. But most of it looks pretty standard, including the flat single-pane windscreen. I think it's got potential as a historical piece, if anyone cares to rescue it.

I odnt know who owns it, the person who spotted it or have any connection with it. But im sure it belongs to someone. I took the street name out so some scumbag that see's it on here doesnt go pinch it.

I don't know who it belongs to, but I took these pictures of it about 2 years ago, what looks like the same spot off the main street in Panania. Different number plate ?!?
