Had a little play yesterday with the new kid on the block.
So the locals (Pauly in his Blue Astrom, Bob and daughter Talia in his new-to-him LWB Supa-Sport and of course the Hillbilly Baja with Ash riding
shot-gun) headed off from my driveway and the fun began....... No pretty paint for these tracks, the over grown firebreak opposite my driveway was the
first easy mission to get Bob into the swing of things.
Then we found a Blue Oval Wreck

Some of us needed to test Pauly's snatch abilities

Here's Bob and Talia enjoying the mud experience

Very nice you lot!!
Looks like you had a great time, a bit of mud is always fun.
And it looks like the Hillbilly needs a bit more flex there Matt!
Smiley
looks fun mr berry! found a semi auto 68 shell the other day might have to BAJA it!

ahem..
matty steamrollered the dead Camry (sand tyres bob; quick get me some wire cutters pls mate so I can fit up these great tail light assemblies on the
the super sport
) n now has a great bent number plate to match the
ascetics of the lower bumper
none the less it was a great arvo out n look forward to doing it all over again with ugly hillbilly's soon
DI run acoming soon
I think the rear tyres are not the biggest issue there !
^^ mmm. Ya think ????

All the weight of that engine ...
Hey it just came from NSW and still has worms!!
Don't worry I have ordered some combantrum to help stop the ass dragging.
Actually the buggy could of picked up that habit from billy.
Btw just got qld rego
great to read
Looks like you guys had a blast..... I love the tracks up there.
Here's my little Manx having some fun in one of the tracks near your place Matt

Maybe Lucy, she does the ass dragging thing way more than Bill.
Nice work Graham
.
And you guys had a unfair advantage!, i was the only one towing a trailer full of exhaust ha ha.
Bob you will quickley learn that mud is something to avoid by staying up on the sides as it ends up in everthing and is like valve grinding paste on
seals etc etc which then turns to shot bearings and so on and so on .
As for lifting it up more in the rear , yes it may need a little lift and the engine cage has a big overhang , BUT DON'T lift it so high that it is
constantly riding on the bottom stops as this makes for a pretty uncomfortable ride and the steel on steel banging is annoying .
Just my 2 cents anyway and i'mm sure Mat is telling you similar
Yeah dont worry first thing is a new smaller exhaust and new engine cage.
Im going to notch the spring plates for down travel before i lift it after i see how much the bus cv's can take, after that ill start thinking about
930 cvs and thing spindles
^^ you'll have to change you sig then mate.
Maybe
Get down low and go,go,go underneath.
ha ha reminds me of my old bus after i first slammed the split.
ah memories
stoked for you getting rego mate
no rush to get it right
looking fwd to this going up a little higher n the rear bar work n exhaust getting a FBH
