12 rides with their drivers and passengers brave Melbournes wet and freezing last day of winter:o:thumb
Filled up, petrol cap taped, estimated fuel comsumption written down plus klms/miles already done on car - at the BP servo in Deer Park
We're all armed with our map, instructions and questions to answer, and rearing to go
.....
Wolf and Fran's red notch
.....
At Lake Wendouree in Ballarat for the BBQ after stopping at the BP servo just before entering Ballarat to top up, record how many litres of petrol
needed and klms/miles
So lucky there was a shelter for us:kiss
Hmmm, the sun is shining briefly here which was good for pic taking
BBQ time at Lake Wendouree , Ballarat, following the run
...
Em's new beetle, Daisy, at the rear and the Ermel's sweet black, split window beetle
Eric from Bachus Marsh (don't forget the swap meet on the 5th October:thumb)
Fran and her notch
Chatting as usual
...No it's not Wolf, it's Matt Kingsleys nice beetle
All the way from WA (well not on the day)
Back of Wolf again (don't ask me why, it must be the new venetian??!!)
And Ben arrived later for the BBQ in his yellow NB
Had used the last shot on the roll
Ballarat later in the day (honest) Jay and I saw a car with ski's on the roof, I swear they'd heard there was going to be snow at
Ballarat
Well it felt cold enough for snow:jesus
Thanks for the Pics Jen, much appreciated.
All Wolf needs now is some rear VW Mudflaps... thanks again.. I love looking at piccies of Volkswagens... Air Cooled of course.....
the NB doesn't do any thing for Me... Lee

Wolf got 36.05 M/P/G. which is also a good result.
Best Kombi 2 ltr 21.2 M/P/G

Best 1300 and under 47.77 M/P/G

Nice pics Jen.
I really wanted to make it out on Sunday too...alas the cold weather was discouraging and the snugness of my bed won hands down.
Ah well, next time.
Good on you guys, you are a brave bunch.
:thumb
Hey We'll catch up one of these days
Think there may have been a couple of us jealous of those still in their warm beds. It was freezing but a great day suffering in good company:thumb
Spewing I had to miss it, maybe next year. :cry
Kol it's a date, be there:thumb
Do they have it every year? Sorta got the idea not. Don't think I've done the full 12 month cycle of events here in Vic yet, or done more
than one year - haven't hit the repeat mark yet
Well I've done 2 Day of's
That was the first economy run the club has done since I joined.
There will another one day but proberly in the warmer months.
Cool re the 'warmer':thumb
