NSW Rego Stickers
65standard - November 17th, 2012 at 08:31 PM

I came across this photo on the web regarding the abolition of NSW Rego Stickers from January 1 2013.

Anyone else got photos of old rego stickers from their cars of years gone by?

Hi
Yes that is correct...
Western Australia was the first state to drop them
reason is cost to have the special paper/sticker made..
and easy to remove..

unlike the really old water decal types..
which a razor blade was used to remove them.. lol

I have kept mine for the past years [2005>]
but 1970 will be hard to beat
unless its still on an old windscreen .. lol

and the old windscreen isn't sitting on a shed roof... lol

Good work..

who would have thought that in another 20 years they will be a rare item ... lol

I think it's also to make money on unregistered car fines, as you won't have the extra reminder of a sticker to let you know when the rego is due.
