Poor Buz was in the car park at work today minding his own business. When a big Toyota Landcruiser tried to push him through the gate his in a lot of
pain
oh no
that's not looking healthy
toorak tractors
dear oh dear
thats got to be worth 1500
As the Toyoya boys say "BUGGER" sorry to see him looking like that but he will be back better than ever.
I bet you said more than 'Poor Buz'
You must be furious
Kev
he was hit pretty hard , that mark to the right of the number plate light is the generator pully. and there is a nice bend in the right hand rear quqter
tell him possible engine rebuild and see what he says.
it sucks that it happened hopefully you have their details.
It was our neighbours in our complex at work. Have all of his details and we're fully insured through Shannons. The young p plater driver pushed
the accelerator instead of the brake and launched the 4wd at speed directly across into Buz he also hit a hilux tray that was parked beside Buz. Looks
pretty bad and I said the f word a lot.
He's lucky no one was walking near by as the guys next door where unloading stock into the their shed all day.
I deal with Shannons a lot, and I can say from my experience that you will not have any headaches from them. You just need to find a proper restoration repair panel shop.
My neighbour had a shed fire last Thursday (which then set my lovely 2 1/2 acres of rainforest on fire!) and lost his beloved Ducati Mike Hailwood
replica (the engine is now a solid puddle on the floor) . They had to use our phone to call their insurance companies - house is with RACQ and Bike is
with Shannons, Shannons not only caused a lot less fuss but they also said they'd cover all his helmets and leathers that were lost!! So I'm happy that you're insured with them....I wouldn't have it any
other way.....?
Are you allowed to drive your "Historic Vehicle" registed car to work?

Oh no, I feel your pain And it wasn't an old fella who's foot hit the accelerator instead of the brake, wow. , let us know if you need a mechanic to check the motor, I
think I know one.
That makes me sad...
Plus i might look into Shannons, let us know how you go, everybody seems to think they are great.

Sorry to hear about your car. hopefully its only panel damage and not something more serious!
Shannons are great, we've been with them for years and had a few claims and haven't had a problem.
I've lodged the claim & they said that it wouldn't affect my insurance in any way.

you are when you take it to a mechanic to service it

Winner!
I'll Shannons next time they are at a show I guess.
yeah I am with shannons too but never dealed with them apart from starting my policy. Wouldn't even have a clue on how to make a claim, but they sounds like the only good insurers out there.
Shannon's wrote Buz off today, repairable write of as he is more than 35 years old. We have salvage wrights so one day he will go again.
Hi Rose
That stinks. How much was Buzz insured for?
Steve
Dosn't stink, good news I reckon, easy fix and back on the road and I'll bet Shannons will reinsure it. Great company to deal with.
Have this nos panel svailable for $500 if you require
historic plates being used ,after all the crap i went through good onya
New project!
