You can shorten beetle one unless you like spending money for no reason.

Beetle spring plates will fit straight onto early steel 944 trailing arms, these ones are aluminium and use a different attachment method, you could make Beetle ones fit with a lot of work but you also dont get the adjustable ride height that you get with 944 spring plates
