[FS - VIC] 1969 BEETLE $6000
69bug - February 27th, 2013 at 07:49 PM

NO RUST My 1969 beetle still wears much of its original savanagh biege paint though the previous owner (a anglican church pastor) has attempted to respray a patch of thinning paint on the roof. The car still has some factory OK stickers on it including in the front wheel well. The car has not been unregistered for 44 years and thus still wears its original registration from 1969 (check the vicroads website). The car is genuine daily driver, does country trips, city driving ect with ease and has a stack of recipts and service history and a bunch of period mods and recent work done to make sure it is tip top. Recent work includes - Laminated wind screen Brandnew carpet Rebuilt and refaomed seats Rear camber compensator Expensive Continetal and Toyo tyres 150$ + each Rebuilt rear drums KYB rear shocks Upgraded head lights and spot lights Wider rear wheels by 0.5 of an inch for extra grip Gene Berg aluminuim pulley ($200) Almost new expensive battery Type 3 rear drums Genuine VW pop out windows Recent major service + gbox flush The car would be suited to some one looking for a reliable classic daily - 32 MPG on the high way and super cheap inscurance means this car is cheap to run! This bug has being really well looked after, it has been garaged at all times and washed and polished everyweekend, Major service just completed at reputable VW mechanic, Will sell cheaper with out rego, Please no tyre kickers or time wasters!

Thanks lee she is a great bug that's for sure,
Yes have spent a lot on it to make it reliable but job change forces me to wear a suit to work, and unfortunately sweat patches are not socially acceptable these days!

Do you need a hand in posting some photos? They almost always help in moving cars and parts.
