This is my pride and joy, and I don’t want to sell it but I need to free up some $capital$ for my business.
She's Australian new, being a 1970 it has the early styled interior with low back seats.
I have early bumpers in place of the fattys. IRS rear.
Pop outs.
I bought it 3 years ago in a fairly standard state. I have spent a huge amount of time and $ getting it to where it is now.
The only rust I have discovered is a few bubbles behind the drivers side rear wheel. . other than that a scratch of surface here and there. When I
got it I pulled the carpet and found no rust on the pan, but rust protected and painted it at that point.
Engine
Freshened 1835 - only just run in.
German Mahle 92mm piston barrel kit measured and true, honed with new Total Seal rings.
Balanced 69mm crankshaft.
CB2234 camshaft.
040 heads stock valves with slight port massage, fresh valve job stock rockers.
009 distributor.
Fed by a pair of matched Dellorto DRLA 40s. I have had these reconditioned at great expense and they seem to give good economy and power.
Brand new clutch kit installed last week by AVWPC
Empi headers with orginal heater exchanges still there. I have 2 bolt on mufflers.
A very loud empi glass pack muffler I use for city driving.
A quieter muffler for longer journeys or if the wifey plans to join.
Suspension
Lowered a couple of notches all round.. pretty sweet stance at the rear with 4deg negative camber . Has been aligned and front wheels sit at 0deg.
New bilstein shocks in rear.
Trans
Brand new Rancho Street Pro. Had intended to build a fast engine for this car so set it up with a good strong street gearbox.
Wheels
Front – polished and painted 15”, 6” cookie cutters
Rear – polished and painted 15”, 7” cookie cutters
Pirelli P6000 185/55/15 all round – almost brand new.
Comes with 2x 15”, 6” spare front wheels, both polished and painted.
Brakes
Front – 297mm vented discs with Holden VS calipers
Rear – 260mm discs with Falcon EA calipers and E brake
Kombi master cylinder
This is a kit made by VW cool - all CNC machined.. Aussie parts and steel hubs.
Interior
This is full custom done by Brad at Bus n Bug. Had front seats rebuilt internally, new pads. Has houndstooth cloth inserts as a homage to the early
911.
Has new front, rear, door cards, rear quarters.
New TMI carpet kit.
Flat 4 GT steering wheel
Flat 4 shifter
This interior took time and $ to get right – and I’m very proud of the results.
Body
As I mentioned above the body is virtually rust free. It has quite a few small dents around her and paint is fairly good but would obviously benefit
from a respray one day..
The deal
I want $9000 for the car non neg.
It will come with reg but wont have a roadworthy for Vic buyers. I don’t believe there will be a problem getting one, but I imagine it will need a
engineer cert for the brakes. The kit has been engineered in many states with no problems before.
The plates do not come with car.
If interested please PM or call me.
Please no time wasters - serious enquiries only.
