I'd love someone to take this car and free me of debt.
I have other projects to spend on desperately and cannot as all my money is tied up in this Volkswagen. A have a credit card I cannot bare to be on
its limit anymore, and an alternative band that is about to go overseas.
I'd like to see it go to a loving home as there are many hours of pride here.
I built it with a young 16year old kid who is also into vw's, we built it as a project to teach some skills, and we feel we have achieved this
together.
> things to fix..
LHR handbrake cable (needs replacing)
Master Cylinder sinks to the floor if car is left for a day or two, a couple of pumps keeps it up for 24hrs..
I'd like to finish these things off (and am happy to carry out these jobs), but the cost of the parts is now beyond my reach.
$6000 as is.
Needs a master cylinder (pedal sinks if left for a day or two, two pumps brings her to life for 24hrs)
And a LH handbrake cable.
Those two items would make her 100% inside and out. And I could perform the labour and supply all parts for $500 (I am quite experienced with
volkswagens and am mechanic by trade)
It has a Black canvas roof and I need to replace two buttons (very minor)
And otherwise roof is 100% (approx 4years old)
I have a chassis racecar I am eager to be building and can't spend a dollar as its all locked up in this beetle.
Viewings are available most of the time.
