[FS - NSW] 1979 Single Cab SOLD
dmbvw - October 4th, 2013 at 01:55 PM

Up for sale is a 1979 Single Cab. I have owned this ute for about 9 years and has been parked in a shed most of that time, although I haven’t driven it for nearly 2 years. It has no rego or roadworthy certificate.

Some bog and probably rust in front steps, pass side sill under treasure chest, driver’s side rear wheel arch, this has bubbled up a bit in the time I have owned it but still intact. There is also some evidence of bog in the rear passenger side probably due to minor damage, this has not changed in the time I have owned it. Front floor, treasure chest floor and tray are almost completely rust free, just a couple of pinholes in the tray about halfway back. There is rust in the gates of course but they are very solid despite the rust.

The engine was running but lacking power and will need attention.

This is the last of the bay window models and has the better acc pedal linkage and steering wheel and stuff. It has been a good ute for me but I have too many cars and time to let this one go. Minimal work required for rego (a bit of welding and the engine sorted) or a good base for a resto.

Price $2990 with standard wheels or $3450 with BRMs as shown in the pics.
Cheers Dave

Cheers Mitchell ,
Seeing a caravan flipped on its side on the way to pick up the ute , I knew I was in for a fun run home
Wind was blowing a gale so it was slow and steady run south , Got caught back at the crash site while they flipped the van back on its wheels
and loaded it on a flat tray .
The Mazda got us home in one piece
