Hi All, I havent posted here for a while so apologies if I get this wrong.

Due to a change in living arrangements, our beloved beetle has to go.

It's a birch green 1967 model with a reconditioned 1600 engine. Drives really well and is original except for the engine. Original paint and interior except it has seat belts in the back.

A couple of spots of rust on the engine lid and a few scrapes and dents on the fenders. I will be taking pics tomorrow.

6 months NSW rego, (ZBL165) good tyres and everything works.
The gearbox has a problem with third gear. At 30 mph it jumps out of 3rd gear unless you rest your hand on the gear stick. Only at 30mph and only in third gear.

Seriously though, there was a lot of interest in it. The market for original cars is strong.

i paid 8k for mine last year in better condition than yours (i dont know about double the price better condition tho!) i personally think you could have got more due to it being so original but as long as both parties are happy with the deal thats the main thing.
