[QLD Swap/Trade) 2004 Citroen C2 VTR
DungBeetle - November 11th, 2013 at 05:43 PM

Hi guys I inherited this 2 years ago when my father passed.
I kept it as a sort of tribute to him but I'm more of an old school fan and want to change up, Dad was a VW fanboy back in his day so I'd like to trade up for something he'd appreciate.

it has new brakes on the front and new clutch with less than 1000km travelled since fitted.

I also have new disks and pads for the rear but I am too busy (lazy) to fit them.

Willing to trade for a mid 60's to late 70's bug (not superbug) or anything else of interest, just let me know what you have.

would prefer a runner without needing a ton of rust work, surface rust is fine coz I'm weird like that.

Call 0455275048 and ask for Allen or just send me a message on here.
Located in Oxley qld 4075, inspections are welcome, cheers :)

How many ks does the car have? I would guess its high if there's been the need to fit a new clutch (I've had many cars with over 200k kms on them and still the original clutch.

Roughly what trade value are you thinking its worth , ie what's the market value?

180k odd, reason it needed replacing was because it was owned by a 60+ year old man who would just ride the clutch instead of sitting on the brake at hill intersections, used to drive me insane.

I have it for sale at 4k no reg or roady.

That seems like very high k's for such a small and recent car. Personally that would put me off as a buyer, once a car hits 20 or 30 years old, more k's is like a badge of honour, under 10 y.o and it can be a real dealbreaker.

Thats just me though - I've had a magna with 30k on the clock that did a gearbox out of warranty!

Good luck with the sale.

well it it originally a townsville car owned by a man who lived about 70 km out of town and used to drive it daily to work, not to mention the yearly trip to brisbane and adelade to visit family and friends around the festive seasons.

I appreciate your opinion on this topic and that it would be a deal breaker for you.

however in the (almost) 10 years this car has been in my family it never needed anything done under warranty.

have a nice day :)
