I'm on the lookout for a rolling shell of a 1303/L Bug.
Doesn't matter about rust/condition, as it will be a project car. Doesn't need an engine, doesn't need fenders either, I'm literally just want a
rolling pan and shell. Hell, they don't even have to be together at this stage.
I'm in SA. I'd prefer an SA vehicle, but depending on condition, would go to Melbourne to pick up.
Not looking at spending much. Probably around 1k.
Contact me here via PM.
I haz purchased bug. It has begun again.
photos or it didn't happen
Meet Gretl.
Looks like a good start, 73 or 74?
It's a 74 Steve
same colour as my new one
we back in the game seb!!!
Yeah, but not using this website for the build thread. Too many people on here will turn up their noses and shit. Not worth the hoopla.
It's over here though.

Hi
Looked bad when I first read that post but looks to be OK after reading more.
Do you still have any bits left over from your old bug to use on this one?
Steve
Yeah Steve, there was a part of me that went "What the hell have I got myself" but then I realised I at least have something to work on now!
I have a few bits here and there. I have a front bumper and front valance from Zelda and that is about it as I sold the rest to get some money back
for parts on the Subaru.
Still a lot of work to do to strip her back where I want her to be before I start. Hopefully have the body off the pan this week.
its appears to have a 75 rear apron?
it appears to have heaps of rust too

i have a 74 and a 75, i don't mind the buldgy ones, i have seen your posts heaps all over the samba Joel, it appears that you have AC in ur super, Very Cool! Would love to learn some stuff about it from you
It has definitely had a rear ender Joel, thankfully the pan is still true. I guess it doesn't really matter either way as I will be replacing it all
anyway.
Speaking of which, need to put up a WTB for some panels. Fucking rust.
what are ur grand plans for the resto? i really wanna mkae one of my supers into a "sportsbug" the US and UK special edition.
Spirited weekender, a lot of suspension work and upgraded brake setups.
The end goal, will hopefully be something I can enjoy and have fun in. Definitely will be a head turner.
