Nice bike!
Are you sure that is an RS?
Any reason why you'd think it's not an RS?
The compliance plate has it as an RS, I've seen plenty of K100 RS with this fairing, actually splitting images of mine.
The RS models had a full fairing.
Yours looks like the standard K100 with an aftermarket fairing on it.
I owned a standard K100 many years ago.
K100RS versus a K100
The compliance plate has K100RS stamped on it, I've seen 6 or more of the same fairing as mine since I've owned it in just over a year.
I personally like the half fairing I have on mine compared to the full fairing on the factory sold RS but that's just me.
Sorry to pipe into a for sale thread. But I thought it was the RT model that had the full fairing as it stood for "Road Touring' instead of 'Road
Sport'.
This is my 1985 K100RT
i fit the cyl heads off these bikes (& the 16v ones too) onto morris/Leyland mini engines ,,, :-)
& turbo inject them :-)
I still have this BMW, not riding it as much which is a crying shame. Took it out for a nice long ride on Sat morning and she rode perfect. Otherwise
gets run around the neighbourhood once a week.
Don't be afraid to make me an offer. If you know anyone chasing a good reliable bike that doesn't require a great deal of maintenance (shaft drive)
then this is the bike
