This car is a good solid base. It has been (and still is) daily driven since I purchased it in November 2004. It is a rack & pinion 1303 1975 L
bug in Martini Olive. It has battle scars and is no trailer queen show car but is a damn fine vehicle that gets comments everywhere it goes
Richard Holzl has helped me make this a wonderful street car with a track edge. He has put a heap of work into the suspension on this car
Stirred - not shaken.
This car is not stock. It has a firm but enjoyable ride with a torquey motor

I was very disapointed to miss this one, hense my WTB ad for a similar one.
I had planned to inspect the car on xmas eve when I will be in Sydney, but alas, I was too late.....
It took me while, but I finally have the go ahead from SWMBO for another toy, so the search is on in earnest (before she changes her mind).
Thanks to Bizarre for answering my many questions when making enquiries. Good luck in looking for your next Kombi project.
Cheers.
I doubt if You will find another 1303S as good as that one..
Willie...
that was just bad luck.... it was worth the money...
Best of Luck finding another one..

Hi all, I am the proud new owner of this bug and I must say it is one sweet ride. I can't wipe the smile off my face every time I drive it. The handling is superb and the engine just purrs. Absolutely loving it.
You purchased a great car............barry is probably still sulking that he sold it LOL
