This is my 'gunna' car - the one I was 'gunna' restore until I lost my job. I can no longer afford to do the resto properly so have decided to sell it.

It's a 1969 1500 semi-auto. (IRS, front discs, 12v) Was a daily driver until about 2007 and always performed flawlessly.

Original Diamond Blue paint is in poor condition but the turret is straight with only surface rust. Guards are dented, passenger door operates but needs replacing. No rust that I can find in heater channels or under battery.

Headlining is good. Interior reasonable for age, although driver's seat is buggered (frame broken).

Engine has not run for about 12 months, but was good at the time. It's a reco engine built by AVWPC in about 2004 and I'd guess it has about 40000 miles on it. Built to run on regular unleaded. Trans never gave any problems. I think it's a perfect project car.

If you'd like to have a look, the car is stored in St Arnaud at my father's place about 3 1/2 hours from Melbourne.

The car can also come with a set of custom number plates (no current reg or RWC, obviously).

VWI-969 Perfect for any '69 VW. Can separate.

What's it cost? I honestly don't know what it's worth.
Reasonable offers will be considered, but I'm in no hurry to sell. Delivery to Melbourne could be negotiated.
