For Sale is this 67 Kombi
Looks like it had a camper interior in it at some stage.
The bus is from the Coolgardie area I think as the paperwork inside the bus references a, local to the area, mining and excavation contractor and an invoice from a Coolgardie vegie shop dated 1969. The rego sticker says 1978.
The bus is very original and has the one key for the ignition and all doors.
Body looks to be in original paint with little to no accident damage.
Engine is a bus engine and id guess original tho it seems to be seized up, but complete.
All interior looks pretty good and even has original seats with no tears, dash is excellent. All doors open and shut nice. Floors and underside are surprisingly clean.
Original door cards, kicks and headliner panels are good to excellent. Switches feel like new. Steering box and gearbox feel good.
Unfortunately at some stage, before I got the bus it looks like it must have been parked under a tree for some time and the roof gutter has rusted out almost all the way round the outside, the airbox will need some attention too. Mostly the other rust is heavy surface rust though with only a few pinholes .
