[FS - QLD] 1976 Kombi Camper
jedidan - May 12th, 2014 at 09:48 PM

Regrettably selling our beloved Camper as its just sitting and not being used. We have spent $$ on doing a refresh a few years back and this included an entirely new, purpose built professional annex and pop-top skin.

Its a 1976 model with 2 litre engine, manual gearbox.
Mechanically in good condition.
Engine just had a top-end rebuild.
Near-new tyres.
rear brakes overhauled.
Adjustable quarter glass has also been installed on the front doors.
re-upholstered interior and the wood has been re-done
Has 2 water tanks installed with sink and electric pump.
Includes original striped annex.
tow bar installed
Is currently on club rego with personalised plates, but will need to be sold unregistered.
Will include roadworthy and personalised plates if it sells for the right price.

Cosmetically needs attention in a few places as it has a few minor dings, surface rust, pop-top spring tensioners need attention but aren't bad (nylon rollers), and it could do with modern sliding windows on the sides....but the car runs and drives nice.

No structural rust.

feel free to have a look or ask any questions.

location is Brisbane, Queensland.
contact Daniel on 0400 314 485 either talk or text.
Asking $10000, but negotiable

Almost forgot - it has a working fridge.
Works on both gas and 240 Volt.

I hate when people do this but hey, I guess you never know if you don't ask... Interested in swapping for a type 3 wagon??

That's quite ok, you may ask. But my second aim is to reduce my fleet of VWs as I am running out of space to store them. Cheers

Thought that might be the case... I wish I was in a position to buy it. Looks like a really tidy bus for a very realistic price! Good luck with the sale.
