[FS - WA] VW COUNTRYBUGGY
george banham - August 26th, 2014 at 07:07 PM

1967 VW COUNTRYBUGGY for sale.
This COUNTRYBUGGY has been completely restored and is probably one of the best available. Have a photographic file of the restoration. She retains her original engine and chassis numbers and she in on the VW COUNTRBUGGY REGISTER. The car is fully registered in WA, and the only modifications are 12v and an original pattern exhaust has been made in stainless steel. There is a handbook, factory parts manual, period jack and even a crank handle (not that you will need it) She has a new hood on the original bows. This car drives like a new car and she owes me a great deal more than the fair asking price of $26700.00. Call George on 0438959234 or george.banham@bigpond.com Mount Pleasant WA 6156.
Thank You.

It's twice as nice as the one I saw up for sale in the USA. They want $45k. Yours is a bargain and far nicer condition.

pfillery,
I completely agree. George's CB is a showroom jewel compared with the US CB currently for sale.

This US offering is crazy, el whacko money. Completly unrealitic.
42,500.00 USD = 48,361.99 AUD is nuts for what it is and the condition.
But it is in the US......and there's only 10 (ten) here in Yankeeland.
Still its gonna take a lots of time and trolling to snare a "big fish" on this example.

By comparison, George's is a much better buy for an import to the
US.
26,700.00 AUD = 23,639.46 USD
Several G's could be spent getting it here and you'd still have money to burn compared with the Maine CB.

Still don't know what the KO # is on George's beauty.
Anyone know?
I know KO 001 is in Perth too supposedly (with Bill Moore's CB Register info), but I don't think this one is 001.
If it was and was in the condition this one appears to be in, and sell for the asking price, it would be the steal of the century.
Imagine owning beautiful KO 001..........

Regards,
Steve
