Up for sale is my '75 L Superbug. It hasn't been "restored to its former glory", but is in very good condition for a daily driver, which I have been using it as. There are a few scrapes and a dent in the rear left guard, but for a 40 year old car, this is typical for a daily driver.

It has been resprayed at some stage in its life. It's a brighter shade of the Wattle Yellow it originally was. The paint is not perfect and the car is not a showroom example, because if it was, the price would be just a "tad" more than the asking of $6k.

It has been customised with genuine VW pop-out rear quarter windows, one piece door windows, Cheviot Hot Wire Mags, a centre console, black roof lining and carpets, front and rear bumpers painted black, sports steering wheel, rear decklid vent cover, Kenwood stereo system and Sony speakers and "bling" foot pedals and window winders. The Owner's manuals also come with the car.

Will this Bug win you a prize at the upcoming VW Nationals on 24 May? Not likely, but you can attend the Nationals in this Bug and for want of a better word, this car would still stand out.

The car drives and handles well so there's no need for a trailer to take this Bug back home.

Nice car and the best model, IMO. But I might be a little biased.....
