My 1965 Beetle
Interior:
Recently re-trimmed interior, clean. On original seat rails.
Exterior:
Has been resprayed previously in a metallic blue top half with silver under the chrome line. Was a promotional vehicle in Sydney and looks the part.
Nice chrome bumpers etc, staino exhaust so it's pretty. Clear coat is a bit patchy, but not hideous. Had stickers on it which have been removed,
unfortunately taking some paint with it, not too bad.
Rust:
Doors have some rust in them, and also front apron joins. Minimal rust overall. Needs one window lifter (drivers side) replaced; works but needs a
push and also the window chanel on passenger side needs replacing. I also have a spare window which can go with it. Blinker light on dash not working,
but ticker box is fine.
RWC:
The vehicle was registered until July just gone, but I bought another car so just parked this one, not really knowing if I wanted to part with it. The
car is driveable, starts first time every time. Would need horn fixed. Does not come with rego or RWC however can arranage quotes & repairs at
your cost if you would like to drive her home. I drove her up from Sydney to Cairns and would not hesitate to do the same again.
Motor etc:
The car runs like a dream, starts first time, every time. New battery. Has been bored out to 1600 we believe, unsure who did the work but have been
told they did a quality job. Converted to 12V. Nice loud, throaty exhaust. Really great fuel economy too. Have had child restraint fitted also and
seatbelt to secure infant's seat, but if you didn't want belts this can be removed. Serived regularly and has had

In the scheme of things, very little work required to make a really clean and reliable bug. I have just found it a little hard with having a little
one to put in the back seat and decided to buy something a little more mummy friendly.
