This 1972 Corona Volkswagen Superbug is one of a kind with it's custom Patina paint work. It is a real head turner and get lots of attention wherever it goes.

The car is in great condition, inside and out. All seats are in great condition and tear-free, the carpets are natural coloured and close to new. The nice little custom touches inside make this car something special.

The 1600cc engine has recently had a top-end rebuild and has done less than 1,000 km's since it has been done. The rebuild consisted of new pistons and barrels, redone heads, roller rockers, all boots and gaskets replaced, new clutch, pressure plate and thrust bearing and new carburettor. It has all been finished off nicely with a chrome dress-up kit and sweet sounding Monza exhaust system (these sound great).

The car is nice and low and I'm pretty sure the clearance is 11cm at the front and back. The suspension is nice and firm and has recently had new springs and ball joints in the front end. The car sits on the road beautifully and travels very nicely at speed.

I have some new components to go with the car that haven't quite made their way onto the car as yet.
