Time to let this baby go.

I've had it since late 2009 when I bought it from the UK & had it shipped out. It's an almost ten year old restoration being completed by Chris Palomba in the UK. Since owning it, I've done very little to it except cherish & enjoy it. It's pretty much the same as when it was completed back in 2007.

Being a ten year old restoration it has a few minor paint issues but overall represents really nice. It always bring a smile to my face when I drive it. It's been a really fun car to own. But alas, it's time for it to live on with it's next owner to keep enjoying.

Details on the car are list below...

1962 Type 3 Squareback LHD. Originally from Sweden, then imported to the UK & now lives in Loganholme, Brisbane, Australia.

Engine spec:

- Fully balanced & blueprinted 2017cc Type 3 motor from Steel Buggin in the the USA.
- AS41 case, tapped for full flow.
- CB Performance 78.4mm 8 doweled crankshaft.
- Unitech I-beam con rods.
- Mahle 90.5 pistons & cylinders with Grant rings.
- TM20 Camshaft with Norris racing lifters.
- New VW 043 cylinder heads with 40 & 35.5mm valves.
- 8.1.1 compression ratio.
- Scat 1:1 rockers.
- Dual 441DF Weber's & Type 3 short manifolds.
- 26mm H/D oil pump, CB Performance external fan, braided fuel lines, stock fuel pump, Bosch coil, Flamethrower electronic ignition, Tri-Mil low mount ceramic-coated exhaust, powered-coated tin ware.

Gearbox spec:

- Rancho Pro Street swing axle gearbox from Steel Buggin.
- Stock ratios. 4.125 ring & pinion.
- Super diff, heavy duty aluminium side plate, welded 3rd @ 4th gears, hardened keys.
- Kennedy Stage 1 pressure plate, Daikin clutch disc, Rhino gearbox mounts, adjustable torque bar.

Other details:

- House of Colour Candy Apple Red paintwork.
- Fully detailed leather interior.
- Boyd Coddington Wheels.
- Disc brake conversion front & rear.
- Torque bar.
- Full flow oil cooler with manual fan.
- 6 inch narrowed beam with drop spindles
- Short shaft conversion on rear.

I have full photo albums of the restoration as well as trophies the car won whilst in the UK.

Currently on QLD club rego.
Sold with no RWC.
