Hi, my beloved 61 beetle is becoming too much work to restore with my new job. I'm looking to swap it for a daily driver later year beetle (70s).
My car is registered until November.

Pros:

Registered!
1600 twin port engine (runs smooth)
Road worthied in November 2016
Fuel tank restored
Electric fuel pump
New Pict 34 carb
New alternator
New battery (still covered under Repco's swap warranty)
New tyres (November 2016)
Aftermarket mid gearbox mount
Headunit with bluetooth and handsfree
H4 headlights

Cons:

Steering box has play, may just need adjustment
Interior has rips, including seats
Flywheel has worn teeth. Still starts, but sometimes you have to crank it a couple of times
Surface rust in usual places
Pitting rust on tip of bonnet
Pitting rust on front driver floor panel and columns
Paint job is a bit rough

I currently drive it to work every day, but I need a car to drive long trips for work.
I will consider selling, $6k, but I'd rather swap.
